Cary Wolfson is best known to the world as the award-winning producer of the syndicated Blues From the Red Rooster Lounge radio show and as one of the pioneers of Boulder, Colorado’s KGNU Community Radio in the late ’70s. He is well known in the world of blues music as publisher and editor of BLUES ACCESS Magazine from 1990–2011, but he is also an accomplished visual artist, using digital photography as his medium. His images have received countless awards and juried selections. His photos have been hung at numerous galleries and at banks, libraries, town halls, and restaurants around Boulder. In recent years his photographic energies have been channeled into the creative possibilities afforded by the iPhone. Cary has taught classes at Common Ground since 1997.
