Carolyn Seabolt is an educator and artist, with many talents. She works with the silk and batik painting method, is a paper maker and carries on the 1800’s painting style of reverse glass painting and English tinsel painting. She is currently writing and illustrating children’s book. She is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), a member of the National League of American Pen Women and is listed in Who’s Who of America’s Teachers, and is a partner of Off Track Art (an artist co-op in Westminster, Md.). She works in her studio called Cat Tracks outside of Westminster surrounded by beautiful gardens, where she finds much of her inspiration, which is reflected in her art.
