Bio

Randall A. Gornowich is a multi-faceted visual artist. He is best known in Baltimore for his creation of the 30 foot pink flamingo which adorns the facade of the Cafe Hon in Hampden. He’s been a featured artist on the HGTV show “That’s Clever.” His photographs have been published on the cover of Baltimore’s City Paper as well as international magazines.  Gornowich studied art in Baltimore, Maryland; Florence, Italy; San Antonio, Texas as well as at Oxbow in Saugatuck, Michigan. He earned both his Bachelors (with honors) and Masters degree from the Maryland Institute, College of Art. He’s spent time working in Washington D.C. at the Library of Congress, National Museum of American History and National Geographic Society. In addition to working as a freelance photographer he teaches art and photography workshops to adults, inner city youth and individuals with special needs. Visit his website to learn more.
