Roberta Gore has taught Drama and assorted English classes in Carroll County Public Schools for forty-two years and directed teens in at least a hundred shows. Additionally, she created Fool Proof, an improvisational acting troupe, in 1987, and Memory Lane Playback Theatre in the spring of 2021. She has an MFA in Theatre with a concentration in Directing from the Catholic University of America and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Baltimore. She has written four books, two YA, a memoir about her beloved North Carroll High School, and a collection of short stories entitled Swimming.
