Develop skills as improvisational actors, learn via warmups and exercises to tap into our creativity, create characters and connections. We will learn short-form and long-form improvisations, and by week's end sculpt our collective storytelling and skills as improvisational actors into a virtual playback show that celebrates life and uplifts memory that your friends and family can enjoy, no matter where they are located. No previous acting experience necessary.
Roberta first became passionate about Playback during Covid. Yearning for theatrical connection, she discovered online Playback and 'played' with fellow actors all over the globe. However different it is from acting with a live team, online Playback WORKS, and has its own unique characteristics that makes online Playback both intimate and collaborative. In the privacy of our living/sleeping/working rooms, we'll forge a bond and feel like we are one.
