Stuart Dahne is an award-winning photographer born in Baltimore and based in Owings Mills, MD.  He has been fascinated by photography since he was a child, spending most of his summers in the darkroom.  This love of photography and the way in which the camera captures a scene, became an obsession that allowed him to see his subjects in a unique way.  He has shared that vision capturing the beauty of wildlife, the glory of people and the complexity of nature through his lens.  Stuart’s photographs evoke emotion in the observer, connecting them to the subject through his love of the artform.  The curve of the flower, the intensity of an eagle, the majesty of elk, the movement of water and the joy of musicians, all touch the heart in unexpected ways.  His most recent award was as the 2nd Place Winner of the Cannon Professional Services (CPS)/RAISE PhotoPlus Challenge. His photograph of a Wetar Island Viper was on display at the PHOTO PLUS EXPO in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY.
