Azalea City Recording artist Jesse Palidofsky is a board-certified counselor in healthcare settings and a gifted workshop facilitator. Popular workshops he has offered over the years include: “Music and Healing: Body, Mind and Soul”; “Dancing in the Circle of Living and Dying” and “The Dance of Joy”. Jesse shares his music in folk clubs and in hospitals, hospices and prisons, as well as in the cause for justice. Jesse has led workshops at numerous national conferences for healers as well at Common Ground on the Hill and Common Ground on the Border. In the judgement-free zone of Jesse’s Beginning Piano Improvisation class, students are invited to “play in the sandbox” of sound and to stretch themselves beyond that which they think they were capable.
Jesse has won numerous songwriting awards. His single "I Am an Immigrant" reached #1 on the Folk International Charts and his reworking of "America the Beautiful: 2020" featuring Claire Lynch and Lea Gilmore has been viewed by 73,000 on YouTube.
