Margaret Kofron works for The Good Shepherd UCC church in Sahuarita Arizona. She has spent time teaching youth about the importance of doing Justice work within our communities. Specifically, Margaret likes to teach and work with youth around immigration. Teaching the history of immigration dating back to the biblical era. She has been working with the Green Valley/Sahuarita Samaritans this past year providing humanitarian aid to migrants. This takes the shape of providing food, water and medical care to migrants along the Arizona border. The goal of the work is to prevent people from perishing in our desert lands.
