John Damond is a librarian at the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore. His interest in Anne Frank began in 1992, when he first visited Amsterdam and the Anne Frank House. This interest turned into an obsession as he continued to ask, read, and learn more about Anne Frank’s story and the Holocaust. John has been presenting programs about Anne Frank since 2010 for middle schools, public libraries, and senior centers, and he recently taught in-depth classes for adults for the Johns Hopkins Odyssey Program and Towson University's Osher Program. In 2023, John earned a Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from Gratz College.
