The Common Ground on the Hill Veterans Initiative invites veterans and civilians to come together in a trusting and supportive environment. This is the workshop that changes lives!
Now more than ever, it is crucial to advance the work of the Common Ground on the Hill Veterans Initiative, a transformative program that fosters connection between veterans and civilians through shared stories, creative expression, and meaningful dialogue. This initiative not only provides a trusting and supportive space for reflection but also amplifies the voices of veterans in shaping a more inclusive and just society. Through the power of the arts—music, storytelling, writing, and film—participants will explore how creative activism can drive change, promote healing, and build stronger communities. Together, we will continue the vital work of expanding this initiative into a national, year-round arts and advocacy program, ensuring that veterans' experiences and perspectives remain at the forefront of cultural and policy conversations. Join us for an inspiring and action-driven experience. Come ready to learn, connect, and make an impact. All are welcome.
NOTE: This class is coordinated with the Women in the Military class in Pd. 4. Students are encouraged to enroll in both courses.
Schedule a week or two, or three! Or, just sprinkle some classes in between other commitments.
