Join David Carrasco of the Harvard Divinity School to view, evaluate and reimagine 4 documentary films and related literature concerning the quest for wisdom and liberation in the US/Mexican Borderlands. From his new documentary about the integration of sports in Washington, D.C. Coach Carrasco: Pasó por Aquí, about his Mexican American father, to Alambrista about farmworkers in the Southwest, to the great musical documentary film, A Song for Cesar, and Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am, Carrasco will take the class on a journey comparing how to link storytelling, liberation and the quest for wisdom through documentary film.
