Learn to use the many features of Photoshop, including layers, layer masks, selection tools and more.
Photoshop 101 is a course in how to create composite imagery, whether it be a collage combining images surrounding an event—a birthday party, a wedding, or possibly a family trip, or images of a loved one, a new baby, a growing child, or a deceased family member; or a poster promoting an upcoming event, a music group, or possibly a rally supporting a cause. Students will learn how to work with layers, layer masks, selection tools, transformations and other useful tools in Photoshop. This class is primarily for beginners but more advanced students will be able to try more advanced techniques.
Class limit: 10 students, ages 16 and up
Materials fee: approximately $20 to print finished projects
