If you have ever been inspired by the haunting sound of the woodland flute of Native Americans, consider constructing your own cedar flute under the guidance of an experienced craftsman. Your flute will be an ideal companion for personal meditation. Easy to play, you’ll enjoy hours of contented music-making alone or with other instruments. Students must be old enough to safely use power tools with instructions.

Limit: 8 students, ages 12 and up

Materials fee: $40 cash includes flute blanks and accessories. Please register early so that the instructor will have enough building materials on hand.

Students should bring: Dust masks or respirators.
