This course is for those wanting to learn how to protect and frame their 2-D artwork. Materials and tools (inexpensive to professional) will be discussed with demonstrations and hands-on practice cutting single mats, double mats, and mats with multiple windows, as well as mounting procedures for the art. The putting together of a finished framed piece will also be demonstrated.

Limit: 8 students, ages 16 and up.

‍Materials fee: $7 includes ATG tape, foam core, and other framing materials (hardware, etc.) Sample mat board and sample glass will be provided by me at no charge.

Materials student should bring: A small to medium sized 2D artwork to frame. Students may want to bring their own mat board, foam core, etc.
