Klezmer music is celebratory, secular Jewish music that originated in Eastern Europe. This class will begin with learning the modes used to play this music. Then we'll learn a handful of typical dance tunes in different rhythms i.e., a volich, sher, bulgar & others. We will put a Common Ground on the Hill klezmer band together and play for the camp!
