Learn the art of jamming with a mountain dulcimer!
In this class students will learn about how to play with others in a jam setting. We will cover the different roles the dulcimer might take in the context of a jam (melody, chords, rhythm, etc.) as well as the techniques needed to occupy those roles. This class will emphasize the improvisational and conversational aspects of jamming. By the end of this class students will have an understanding of what and when to play during jam sessions as well as how to improvise on the dulcimer.
Schedule a week or two, or three! Or, just sprinkle some classes in between other commitments.
