Students will learn how to make useful knives, projectile points, and tools using hammer stones, antler billets, and pressure flakers. The history of stone tools is everybody’s ancestry. Stone tools were made all over the world in different times geographically. Eventually they were replaced with better tools; but all humans started with stone tools. In conclusion every student will be able to produce a finished lethal point by the end of class.
Limit: 8 students, ages 16 and up.
Materials fee: $10 includes the stone for knapping.
Students should bring: a camping chair
Schedule a week or two, or three! Or, just sprinkle some classes in between other commitments.
