Discover Scottish tunes from as far back as the 16th century!
Traditional musicians normally play tunes from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, but this class will cover tunes transcribed in the 16th century when the lute, tabor and harp were apparently popular instruments. Most of the music is much older than that!
Suitable for people who learn by ear, as well as those who read music. Sheet music will be provided.
This class is open to harpists and other instrumentalists of all ages and abilities.
Schedule a week or two, or three! Or, just sprinkle some classes in between other commitments.
