Bio

Ralph Gordon is a much sought-after free-lance musician (bass and cello) performing internationally and teaching in the Washington, DC area. He is classically trained and performs in a variety of styles including folk, classical, Celtic, blues and jazz. He toured and recorded for years with Trapezoid, and performs and tours with a multitude of groups including Magpie and Walt Michael & Company. Ralph appears on well over one hundred recordings, including albums with John McCutcheon, Holly Near, Trapezoid, Alexander Mitchell and Rhythm Ranch.
